Adaptive reuse of Lowell Lecture Hall, a teaching facility consisting—on the Main and Balcony Levels—of a historic lecture hall and—at the Basement Level—of small classrooms, as a Performing Arts Center for use for rehearsals and informal performances by Harvard student music, dance, and theater groups, as well as a teaching facility for lecture and seminars. The project includes design of a new performance space within the auditorium and the redesign of the interior space to provide internal connections between the Basement classrooms, an accessible entrance at a new Mezzanine Level, and the Performance Hall.
