Wesleyan University Usdan University Center Landscape Improvements

The principal dining and activity center for the Wesleyan University, Usdan University Center was designed by Kallmann McKinnell & Wood.  The Center, located at the north end of the historic row of brownstone buildings and adjacent to the football field and baseball diamond, is on site of the former athletic cage, and includes renovation of an adjacent nineteenth century gym, Fayerweather Hall for student activities and adjacent squash courts for student center food services. RO+A provided landscape design services for restoration of approximately five acres of campus.  New outdoor spaces include extension of the principal campus walk north from the nineteenth century brownstone row to join a series of quadrangles formed by the mid twentieth century Center for the Arts and creating a new terrace between the University Center and athletic fields.
