When a renowned jazz pianist and composer joined the Music Faculty, we were commissioned to renovate a portion of the Music Building to create a studio for his use for teaching, composition and rehearsal. The studio design integrates variable acoustics, lighting, millwork, furnishings, specialized mechanical systems, daylighting and sound isolation techniques.
