An Academic Building for grades six through eight, this project for Glen Urquhart School, an independent school which emphasizes sustainability and environmental awareness throughout its curriculum, provides classrooms, offices and assembly spaces with natural day-lighting, natural ventilation, radiant heat, a high degree of thermal mass, sun control, high efficiency boilers and hot water systems, ventilation systems with energy recovery, and a highly insulated envelope.
